Can I use my own phone or tablet?
Yes. TillMint runs in the browser on reasonably modern iPhone, Android and tablet devices. Add it to your home screen and set it up while connected before your first offline market day.
Does TillMint take card payments?
TillMint records card sales taken on your existing EFTPOS terminal alongside cash. It does not currently process built-in phone tap-to-pay payments.
What happens when the internet drops?
Once set up on your device, checkout records sales locally and keeps working offline. On Free, sales stay on your device and you export them whenever you like. On Pro and Storefront, cloud backup catches up whenever the connection returns.
What does AI do?
On Pro and Storefront, it helps draft product details from photos. You check the result and enter every price. AI has no role during checkout.
Why should I trust a till I haven’t heard of?
You shouldn’t have to. On the free plan your sales never leave your device, the till keeps selling with no signal and no servers, and you can export every sale at any time. If you pay for cloud backup, it is stored in Sydney, locked to your account and backed up nightly. If we ever shut down, you get 90 days’ notice and your data. The details are on our trust & security page.
Can I take my data with me?
Yes. You can export to CSV on any plan, including after cancelling. The free till remains available.
